Hi, I'm Chesca

I’m a self-taught filmmaker from England specialising in cinematic, documentary style short films. My work is grounded in cultural immersion, and I particularly love exploring the folklore and traditions that root a place in myth, memory and lived experience. 

 

Filmmaking for me has always been about curiosity and connection. I specialise in storytelling that blends the real with the cinematic: films that look beautiful but also carry emotional weight. I work independently, often just me and my camera, capturing life as it unfolds with a decade of experience filming on the move. I do everything myself, from storyboarding and videography to editing, colour grading and sound design, carrying a film from the spark of an idea all the way to the final cut.
